Neuroscience Master's Student
Neuroscience Graduate Program, Western University, Canada
Emma is a Master's student currently enrolled in Western University's graduate program in neuroscience. She is supervised by Dr. Siobhan Schabrun. Before coming to Western, she attended Wilfrid Laurier University where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Neuroscience. Her current research focuses on using forms of non-invasive brain stimulation to study neuroplasticity, specifically something known as homeostatic plasticity. This research has potential to contribute to finding novel interventions for some chronic pain conditions in which abnormal homeostatic plasticity is thought to be an underlying factor.
