Maureen McBeth, received her MPT at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA in 1996.
In 2004, while at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, she became a CLT via the
Norton School and had the opportunity to specialize in lymphedema and cancer
rehabilitation. In 2005, she moved to Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, MD to develop the
lymphedema program at The Center for Restorative Therapies at Weinberg. In April of 2017, Maureen left the hospital-based environment to focus on educational
training with her consulting firm and work in the private practice sector. She has numerous peer reviewed publications and poster/presentations. She regularly spoke as an invited speaker at conferences, continuing education, and industry sponsored events. She has taught in over one hundred CLT training classes as a primary instructor with The Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy from 2006 until 2021. She is passionate about implementation science and evidence-based medicine. Maureen is an active member of the lymphedema community and is a member of many organizations including: APTA, LE&RN, ISL, NLN and ACRM. Maureen has been involved in a long-term volunteer project to help advance lymphedema care in Cali, Colombia. and supports the many lymphatic advocacy efforts in the US. In January of 2022, Maureen had the opportunity to work full-time with one of the industry partners that she had consulted with for many years. In her new position, she continues to focus on supporting the rehabilitation community with education and clinical support. She has recently been promoted to her companies Medical Affairs department.
