Dr. Eschbach is a demographer and sociologist. He was a professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Geriatrics and a Senior Fellow at the Sealy Center on Aging at the University of Texas Medial Branch in Galveston, TX. Since retiring from the University of Texas Medical Branch, he has worked for the Taylor Policy Group, Inc., a public policy research corporation and consortium that provides economic and policy research to guide internal decision-making, negotiations, and tribal policy for Native Nations. His work has focused on the impact of population settlement and tribal growth.
