Susanne Schmidt is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Population Health Sciences at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Her research focuses on disparities in access to care and outcomes with particular focus on cancer and the impact of the social determinants of health. She has a PhD in Applied Demography with training in quantitative research methods with a focus on health outcomes and additional postdoctoral training in Health Policy and Evaluation.
