Dr. Ramirez is the William L. Dowling Endowed Professor in Health Administration and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Systems and Population Health. She has an interdisciplinary background in human-centered design, public health, and learning health systems research. Her research focuses on designing technology-enabled interventions to reduce disparities in health status and health care delivery, particularly among Latino populations. Dr. Ramirez’s long-term goal is to develop effective and sustainable solutions to improve the health of populations burdened by health and health care disparities.
