Eric Fabara is a Research Fellow at the Motion Analysis Lab at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. He obtained his MD from Universidad San Francisco de Quito and joined the Motion Analysis Lab led by Dr. Paolo Bonato. His research work is focused on developing and testing rehabilitation technologies with an emphasis on their translation to the clinic. He has been involved in the development and testing of systems to facilitate motor training (i.e., rehabilitation robotics) and the monitoring of outcomes (i.e., using wearable technology and device-recorded data) in a diverse range of patient populations including stroke survivors, traumatic brain injury survivors, children with cerebral palsy, and persons with knee osteoarthritis.
