Deb Jacoby has worked in the geriatric field providing Recreation Therapy on Memory Care Units or to People suffering from Alzheimer's Disease & other Dementias for more than 40 years. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. Deb is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS), a Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP) a Board Certified-Activity Professional (BC-AP), along with having a Dementia Specialist Designation in Wisconsin. Deb continues to try new & innovative ways to enhance the quality of life for those living with dementia as well as their families. She was instrumental in gaining a grant in 2012 being the first facility to bring the Music & Memory program to Wisconsin. Her work with VibeTech while serving as Life Enrichment Director at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center (Plymouth, WI) resulted in the company focusing its development efforts on the needs of people living with dementia. Deb is currently working with VibeTech in the role of Director of Implementation and Training.
