Clinical Physical Therapist / Multiple Sclerosis Research Fellow
Shepherd Center
I am a licensed, practicing physical therapist (PT) and researcher at the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Institute at Shepherd Center in Atlanta, GA. In addition to my work as a PT, I am also a PhD student in the Health Sciences program with a focus on Translational Rehabilitation Science at Georgia State University. As a PT and graduate student, I am establishing a line of research focusing on rehabilitation technologies that have the potential to expand the precision and accessibility of quality care for people with MS. Specifically, I am currently investigating the feasibility of remotely delivering evidence-based treatment strategies using technologies such as portable neuromodulation stimulators (PoNS), the use of web-based telehealth platforms for people with MS, and remote patient monitoring of gait using sensor infused smart socks.
