Dr. Monique Tremaine is the Director of Neuropsychology and Cognitive Rehabilitation at Hackensack Meridian JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute Center for Brain Injuries. With 20 years of experience in neurorehabilitation across inpatient and outpatient settings, Dr. Tremaine was Director of Neuropsychology and Cognitive Rehabilitation at Kessler Institute where she developed and implemented comprehensive cognitive rehabilitation programs specialized across levels of severity in acquired brain injury. She has most recently completed a Post-Doctoral Master’s Degree in Psychopharmacology. She is currently co-investigator for the existing TBI Model Systems grant extension. Research interests include pharmacological interventions in management of psychological and cognitive changes after brain injury, neuropsychological predictors of prolonged recovery following concussion, and development of technology and evidence base for virtual reality and artificial intelligence in cognitive rehabilitation.
