Maria Andrea Oliva is a Clinical Research Supervisor for Dr. Nathalia Jimenez's research lab at Seattle Children's Research Institute. She obtained a Master of Science degree in Epidemiology from the University of Washington. She has 14 years of research experience, primarily with Hispanic/Latine populations, including examining the impact of environmental exposures within agricultural settings on children’s cognitive and physical development. Her research interests include the effects of social, psychological, and environmental factors and intergenerational trauma on the health of the Hispanic/Latine population.
