Diana H. Presno Rubin, MD, is a postdoctoral research fellow in Cancer Rehabilitation in Kessler Foundation.
As a clinician and research fellow in cancer rehabilitation, I am dedicated to advancing the field through innovative research. My interest lies in enhancing the quality of life for cancer survivors. With an understanding of the complex challenges that accompany cancer diagnosis and treatment, I've made it my mission to research the needs, gaps, and areas of opportunity to help find solutions for this population. My expertise in cancer rehabilitation has been shaped by my education, academic training, and experience, including owning and operating the only private cancer rehabilitation clinic in the western area of Mexico. My research interest focuses on two critical areas: understanding the burden of impairment and exploring the physical, sociological, and psychological barriers for achieving adequate quality of life and life satisfaction for cancer survivors. I also have a profound interest in international cancer rehabilitation development. I believe that access to comprehensive cancer care should be a global priority, and I'm committed to contributing to the growth of cancer rehabilitation knowledge and development worldwide. I'm eager to collaborate with international partners, share knowledge, and look for evidence-based practices to help diverse cultural and healthcare contexts. My goal and passion is to produce high-impact research that improves outcomes and quality of life for cancer survivors globally.
