PhD Candidate
University of Alabama at Birmingham
I completed a bachelor's degree in physical therapy in Saudi Arabia in 2014. I worked as a physical therapist for about two years. Afterwards, I shifted my career path to occupational therapy, working as an occupational therapy teaching assistant. To pursue this goal and develop my skills, I earned my master’s in occupational therapy from the New York Institute of Technology at Old Westbury in 2022. In the same year, I joined the PhD rehabilitation sciences program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Currently, I am a PhD candidate researching primarily in vision rehabilitation.
