-Creation of the most widely read Medical Publication: Creator and Editor in Chief of medical journal Rehab in Review (aka Bones and Brain in Review) is now the most widely read journal of its kind in the world; formally recognized by the World Health Organization, as well as the leading National and International Societies of Dr Burke’s field. He just celebrated 30 continuous years of monthly publications
Creation of a World Health Organization Collaborating Centre: This success of the medical journal was recognized as so influential that the WHO appointed Dr. Burke as the Director of the first WHO Collaborating Centre that Emory University has ever had; it is one of seven of its kind in the world.
Nine Consecutive Years as Top Doctor: As a practicing physician he has been voted by his peers as one of Atlanta’s Top Doctors for the past nine consecutive years
