Dr. Noble G. Jones is currently the Program Director of Inpatient Cancer Rehabilitation at Emory Rehabilitation Hospital and associate professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Emory University. Dr. Jones began his career by earning his degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University and systems engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He served as a Flight Systems Aerospace Engineer for NASA for 15 years before transitioning to a career in medicine. He earned his medical degree from the Cleveland Clinic Lerner School of Medicine. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Duke University and then began his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Kessler Institute of Rehabilitation in conjunction with Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (NJMS), where he also completed his fellowship in Cancer Rehabilitation. His primary focus is the management and treatment of neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, palliative and functional disorders in cancer patients and survivors, both in the inpatient and outpatient setting. One of his major goals is to make cancer rehabilitation accessible worldwide to ensure that all patients have access to comprehensive care.
