Alexandria Suhalka, MPH, graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Medical Humanities. She attended the University of North Texas Health Science Center and graduated with a Master of Public Health with a concentration in public health practice. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Health Promotion and Behavioral Science at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Since 2019, She has worked as a research intern to a clinical research coordinator at Baylor Scott & White Research Institute (BSWRI) in various projects related to health, disability, and patient outcomes in specialized rehabilitation populations (traumatic brain injury, stroke, and spinal cord injury). She assists with various study tasks, including consent, intervention development and delivery, data collection, data analysis, and dissemination. As a bilingual researcher, she is involved in the informed consent process and data collection for Spanish-speaking participants. After joining the team BSWRI, she has worked on several studies as a coordinator (Grant # 541948, Grant # 90IFRE0022) and lead project coordinator (Grant # 90IF0091-01-00, Grant # W81XWH2110922, Grant # 90DPTB0023 and Grant # 90IFRE0084).
