Kira Burns, Co-founder and CEO of Gravitrex, has more than 15 years of broad commercial experience in healthcare (former Abbott Marketing Director, Region Europe). She has extensive experience working on clinical nutrition products for aging and frailty and is passionate about finding solutions to preserve independence in older adults. Kira received her BA in International Relations from Tufts University; and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Gravitrex is an early stage startup that is leveraging a novel technology to create a new gait training device with body weight support that is more accessible. Gravitrex is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, and has funding support from the National Institute on Aging, The University of Chicago Polsky Center, and others.
