This symposium will provide attendees with an understanding of the theoretical principles underlying the use of noninvasive brain stimulation (NIBS), an introduction to the essentials of NIBS application, and an overview of the research evidence supporting the use of NIBS as a neurorehabilitation tool. The advantages and disadvantages associated with the most commonly used NIBS modalities will also be discussed to provide attendees with a broad overview of the clinical utility of each of these stimulation modalities.
