A basic scientist by training, Dr. Jennifer Iddings transitioned to a career in clinical research nine years ago. Applying her expertise in vascular and neural physiology to the field of SCI neurorehabilitation research, she has been a key contributor to multiple projects investigating the use of clinically accessible interventions for spasticity reduction and functional restoration in persons with SCI. As a Research Scientist at the Shepherd Center, Dr. Iddings' research interests are focused on the use of clinically accessible, noninvasive brain stimulation techniques to enhance neuroplasticity and improve hand function and quality of life for individuals with SCI.
