The repercussions of COVID-19 prevail in negative long-term physical, psychological, and cognitive health disparities. This symposium will present work on the intricate relationship between an episode of COVID-19 and the risk of developing frailty after that, supported by a systematic review investigating the trajectory and prevalence of frailty in individuals post-COVID-19. Understanding the interplay between frailty and COVID-19 will assist in fostering an interdisciplinary, patient-centered approach to assessment, management, and potential interventions, mitigating adverse outcomes associated with the COVID-19 virus.
