Vanina Dal Bello-Haas, PT, PhD is a consultant physiotherapist and Professor (retired). Vanina's research and clinical interests broadly focus on maximizing function and quality of life in people living with neurodegenerative diseases and older adults across the health care continuum. Using quatitative, qualitative, mixed and systematic methods, her work is framed by the latin root of rehabilitation, "rehabilitare" - to provide again with means, and an "active living" approach where health and wellness and optimal and productive living are paramount irrespective of disease state and aging trajectory. Vanina actively engages in a variety of research, service, volunteer and leadership activities within the physiotherapy profession and rehabilitation field with colleagues in Canada, the USA, and globally.
