This is an example of the creative arts and mainstream therapy working together for a common cause: the complex stroke patient in the southwestern region of the country. This case encompasses the diversity of a patient's background and complexity of the neurologic diagnosis requiring a unique type of treatment that our comprehensive program could provide. This case highlights the necessity of collaboration, creative arts in neuroscience, and the awareness of cultural and neurodiversity within the medical field.
