Elizabeth Mormer is a Speech-Language Pathologist at UPMC and PhD student in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Science at the University of Pittsburgh. She has 8 years of clinical experience in acute care. Her research interests broadly include Health Services Research in Rehabilitation Science and Health Equity Research. She is a research assistant to Dr. Janet Freburger for her R01 grant investigating predictors of post-stroke rehabilitation access, use, and quality. Elizabeth's dissertation work explores racial and ethnic disparities in outcomes and SLP care for patients with swallowing disorders.
