Dr. Hammond is a board certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician who is an active clinician, researcher, administrator, and advocate. She is professor and Chair of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Indiana University School of Medicine and Chief of Medical Affairs at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana. She is project director of the Indiana Traumatic Brain Injury Model System and the Executive Chair of the Traumatic Brain Injury Model Systems. Dr. Hammond’s clinical care, research and advocacy focuses on optimizing prognostic communication, enhancing longterm outcomes, and improving treatment effectiveness for individuals living with the effects of TBI.
