Dr. Tennison is an Associate Professor in the Palliative, Rehabilitation, and Integrative Medicine department at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She is also an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Dean of McGovern Medical School at Houston. Her research interests include an interdisciplinary approach, improving safety with functional activities, functional outcome measures, the transition of care, peripheral edema management, lymphedema management, nutrition, and conservative management of neuromuscular problems. She has authored several publications and presented at local and international conferences.
