Amanda Everall (Day) obtained an honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto in Cellular & Molecular Biology and Health & Disease. In 2018, she completed a thesis-based Masters in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Toronto. Her thesis involved pharmacy practice research, specifically seeking to describe best practices for a publicly funded medication review service delivered in a community pharmacy setting. Using a multi-case study approach, she compared the work systems of two pharmacies selected for their high quality medication review services. This study resulted in the development of a conceptual definition of, and recommendations for achieving, best practice for this service.
Amanda has experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods including conducting interviews, field observations, document analysis, and administering surveys and questionnaires. She has worked with different participant populations including clinicians and individuals with complex health and social needs. She has also mentored students, guiding them through the interviewing and general research processes.
