Dr. Ogawa received her Ph.D. from the Department of Exercise and Health Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Boston and completed her post-doctorate training at the New England Geriatric Research Education Clinical Center (GRECC) at VA Boston Healthcare System. She is currently a research physiologist at New England GRECC and a faculty at Harvard Medical School and the University of Massachusetts Boston. Her current award, VA Rehabilitation Research Development Career Development Award, evaluates the impact of cognition on a rehabilitation program. In addition to research responsibilities, as an exercise physiologist, Dr. Ogawa is providing clinical care to aging Veterans through the Gerofit Program.
