Brad Kurowski, MD, MS is a rehabilitation medicine physician with certification in brain injury and pediatric rehabilitation medicine. His research focuses on understanding how individual, injury/disease-related, socio-environmental, medical, behavioral, therapy, and lifestyle factors affect health and wellness after injury and in disease. He has expertise in programmatic development focused on building interdisciplinary clinical and research teams. He is particularly interested in how neuroscience principles can be applied to develop and cultivate high-functioning, creative, and innovative teams. He also holds an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) Credential from the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and is completing an MBA. Dr. Kurowski is a tenured, professor, co-founder and director of the Brain Recovery after INjury (BRAIN) Health and Wellness Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, faculty development liaison, site director for the rehabilitation experience for medical students, and treasurer for the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine
