Varieties of neuromodulation techniques become available and facilitate restoration of motor functions after SCI. These rehabilitation techniques provide non-invasive applications to enhance upper, lower extremity functions and reduce bladder dysfunction in persons with SCI. Unfortunately, several of these beneficial techniques are not regularly considered in the clinical settings or the rehabilitation of persons with SCI. This day-2 instructional course will provide clinicians and other rehabilitation specialists with hands-on training on applications of TSS in the rehabilitation of upper and lower extremity as well as applications of tibial nerve stimulation for bladder dysfunction in persons with SCI. These techniques can be easily translated to other clinical populations with different neurological insults.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of training, participants will be able to explain applications of using to restore standing and stepping in persons with SCI.
At the end of training, participants will be able to describe the differences in applications of TSS in conjunction with exercise.
At the end of training, participants will be ablet to discuss tibial nerve stimulation in enhancing bladder function.
