The purpose of this course is to introduce the NCCIH/NCMRR R13 diversity mentoring workshop which awards scholarship to diverse early career researchers of underrepresented minority (URM) background. The workshop is designed to offer mentoring, research grant writing skills, peer support, professional development, and opportunities for networking and collaboration to URM early career researchers. Open to the R13 fellows who will have the opportunity to connect with experts, contribute to clinical practice guideline development, discuss research strategies, grant acquisition and learn strategies to serve in leadership capacities within the field.
