Dr. Jolie Haun is an Implementation Scientist, with a dual-appointed position as a Supervisory Research Health Scientist at the VA, and an Adjunct Associate Professor within the Division of Epidemiology, in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Utah. Dr. Haun has expertise in health services and rehabilitation research in learning health systems, with meaningful leadership roles on more than 20 funded projects. Dr. Haun has expertise in using Human Centered Design, with mixed methods, to evaluate implementation and evaluation of enterprise-wide programs, processes, and outcomes of VA initiatives from the perspective of diverse user groups leveraging participatory approaches. Dr. Haun’s program of research takes an interdisciplinary approach to evaluate care delivery models, interventions and programs for Veterans to improve health-related and rehabilitation outcomes.
