Dr Marina Charalambous is a Speech and Language Pathologist trained in the UK. She is a Clinical Lecturer and a Researcher at the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, Cyprus University of Technology. She holds a PhD in Medical Sciences from the Department of Neurology at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. Dr Marina Charalambous’s research focuses on Patient and Public Involvement in Stroke and Aphasia Rehabilitation research. Currently, she holds several commissions of trust posts as follows: President of the Cyprus Stroke Association, Secretary of Stroke Alliance for Europe, and a World Stroke Organization Future Stroke Leaders Alumni. Dr Marina Charalambousis is a Board Member of the Aphasia Internationale Aphasie and the Cyprus Patient’s Association. She is a member of the European Patients Academy on Therapeutic Innovation, the World Patients Alliance, the Rehabilitation Implementation Taskforce WSO, and the World Stroke Campaign Committee of the World Stroke Organization.
