Rachel is an occupational therapist with 6 years of experience in acute care including ICU, trauma, medicine, neuro, and surgical services. For the past several years she has specialized in burn rehabilitation. Her burn experience ranges from ICU early mobility programs and delirium prevention, through the acute and reconstructive phases of burn recovery, and community re-integration and scar management in the outpatient clinic setting. Program development and specialization has focused on expansion of therapy access for burn survivors in the burn clinic setting, wound and scar management casting in pediatric populations, and acute to chronic edema management for burn survivors. Rachel recently earned her certification in lymphedema therapy and is utilizing this approach in the burn survivor population.
