Proceed past the lobby elevators and turn right to enter the West Wing. Proceed down the corridor, turn right and then left. Proceed past the restrooms to the end of the hall and turn right. The interprofessional RTSS framework for treatment specification has great potential for reporting research interventions in a way that helps bridge the gap between research and practice.  It also has the potential to improve the study and understanding of how theory-based mechanisms of action inform the selection of ingredients appropriate for a given treatment target. There are challenges to its implementation and widespread adoption; however, this symposium will highlight the feasibility and applicability of RTSS use in a variety of research context from a new-user perspective.
