This presentation describes building an effective understanding of the significance of human mobility across the life span in a variety of healthcare environments.
This presentation reviews the interprofessional impact of a simulation activity involving three separate simulations on a single day with focus on the concept of patient/client mobility. The simulation activity involved prelicensure occupational therapy and nursing students at Saginaw Valley State University.
Regular exposure to IPE during pre-licensure programs may help embed collaborative practice as an integral part of health professionals’ practice.
