Eva Pettemeridou is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychology, at the Univeristy of Limassol. She was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence (CoE) and the Center for Applied Neuroscience (CAN), at the University of Cyprus, since 2018. She is also a registered clinical psychologist (#551). Her research interests lie within the general field of acquired brain injury (ABI), with a focus on self-awareness, executive functions, brain morphology via MRI, and the quality of life of individuals with TBI and stroke, as well as patient monitoring. Currently, she conducts research at KIOS CoE and CAN with a focus in traumatic brain injury and long COVID. She has extensive experience in conducting research, as she has been working as a researcher at the CAN, since April 2013. Her main duties have been conducting neuropsychological assessments, focus groups, neuropsychological reports, and data analysis, including neuroimaging data. She is the Communications & Social Media Officer of the executive committee of the International Interdisciplinary Special Interest Group of the American Congress Rehabilitation Medicine, and an Advisory Board Member of the Cyprus Stroke Association.
